Coin change machine

The Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP) vigorously promotes coin deposit machines to improve 

the recycling of coins and 

reduce the cost of coinage. These machines allow users to

 deposit legal coins, and the deposited amount will be transferred 

directly to the user's e-wallet, such as GCash. This measure not only facilitates users,

 but also helps to solve the problem of coin 

backlog. At present, the Philippines has collected more than 510 million pesos of coins through

 these coin deposit machines.

This move aims to deal with the problem of hoarding and low utilization of coins in circulation

, and the Philippines is one of the 

first countries in Southeast Asia to deposit coins directly linked to e-wallets.
